The Merrill Y-2 8′ self-closing yard hydrant automatically shuts off to keep wasted water to a minimum. A stainless steel spring and water pressure shut the hydrant off when a user is not operating the hydrant, making the Y-2 perfect options for public use. This hydrant also has a locking feature to lock the hydrant in the on position if needed, and off for when it should not be used. Designed with swivel parts, allowing for the hydrant insides to be removed and/or replaced without having to dig the hydrant up.
