Description
Brass Swing Check Valves are designed to prevent backflow or reverse flow of fluids, ensuring the flow only occurs in one direction. A disc is connected to a hinge mechanism, allowing it to swing open or close in response to fluid pressure. When the fluid is flowing in the desired direction, the disc swings open, allowing the flow to pass through. However, when there is a reversal in flow or pressure, the disc swings closed, effectively blocking the backflow.
