Description
A ball valve is a type of valve that utilizes a ball-shaped disc with a hole or port in the center. The ball is rotated by a handle or lever to control the flow of fluids through the valve. When the ball’s opening is aligned with the pipe, the valve is fully open, allowing unrestricted flow. Conversely, when the ball is turned perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is fully closed, blocking the flow of fluids.
